St Pancras Station Shows Off Howard Bros Heritage Craftsmanship
Originally built in 1868, St Pancras Station has been famously restored and now re-opened as the UK’s gateway to Europe. The restoration works comprised new joinery doors and windows on a grand scale that were designed to match the profiles of the existing building. These were manufactured and assembled using traditional jointing techniques to replicate the methods of assembly undertaken when the station was originally built.
Howard Bros Joinery was chosen for this project because our wide ranging skills ensured that new joinery, ironmongery, painting and decorating was sympathetically merged into the fabric of this Grade 1 listed Heritage building.
Our on-site Project Team collaborated with the Architect, Main Contractor and English Heritage to provide the design, support and logistics necessary to deliver this Project to its successful conclusion.
